Born in New York City, Dr. Montalvo grew up in Manhattan, and began his academic career at Fordham University in the Bronx. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1991, where he earned a doctorate in Podiatric Medicine, and was named to the Pi Delta National Honor Society. After completing his residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, he established a private practice in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn in 1995. Dr. Montalvo also serves as a clinical associate at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn. He has been practicing medicine for over 25 years.
